In 2005 a software development company called Slingshot was created as a way to help empower entrepreneurs with technology ideas.

By leveraging our expertise in designing and building tech products, we’re looking to partner with entrepreneurs and help make their ideas a reality. Starting a business is hard, and growing a business is harder.

From all this, Slingshot Ventures came about as the startup arm of Slingshot, helping founder’s innovate and grow.

A CURRENT INVESTMENT

A hands-free dictation app for surgeons, Dr. Dictate was formed by a board certified orthopedic surgeon along with a startup veteran. The team had done extensive market research as well as secured sites for beta testing, but needed a technical founder to help design and build the product, as well as provide overall product strategy. The pairing made sense; we've since commenced the build with initial go-to-market slated for Q3 2020.
